I have completed my four weeks on the Dukan Diet and have lost 7 pounds (not too bad, right?). It was good while it lasted, however I have come to the conclusion that I need fruits and vegetables in my daily diet. While following the plan I was only ?allowed? to eat veggies every other day and no fruit at all. This was tortue for me (can you imagine, something like that tormenting ones lifestyle?). I am happy to report that I am back on board with what worked for me in the first place (if it ain?t broke don?t fix it!). The seven pounds was a great kick start which prompted me to exercise everyday and keep myself hydrated. I now have reverted back to my original routine of eating whole grains, fresh vegetables and fruits as well as hooping, using my WII Fit and my walking DVD. I will also resume my running regime this week because I have added carbs (although small amounts) once again to my diet. So folks I have ditched Dukan and am back on the road to my Baby Boomer Way of living a healthy and fit lifestyle!
